RACE DRIVER
Amanda inherited her love of speed from her late father, Terry Cohn, well known in classic and historic vehicle circles. While most girls were still playing with dolls, Amanda was learning race-craft on two wheels: At the age of 18 she won a major “Best Newcomer” award for her feats in historic sports and Grand Prix cars on raced tracks and hill climbs in the UK and across Europe.
By the millennium, she had started to race more modern machinery taking part in the UK’s inaugural ASCAR series and later racing a powerful 8-litre Chrysler Viper and dramatic TVR in sports and GT races all over the world. Next stop is Le Mans, with and assault on the most famous race in the world planned for 2007/08.
